That finding matters because search results can point to sheriff products for other places named Morgan County. Verify that an app or roster names Georgia, the Madison jail address, and the Morgan County Sheriff's Office before trusting it.

Official social posts also need context. Check whether the post came from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, another police agency, or a news outlet. An image copied from an arrest announcement can keep circulating after the source record changes. The date of the post is not a release date. Keep a copy of any restriction order or confirmation. If a public portal still shows an affected entry, contact the office that controls that portal. Georgia has one rule for agency release and another for qualifying commercial-site removal. O.C.G.A.
